You are invited to join PFLAG and be a part of our mission, our excitement, and our activities. Becoming a PFLAG member is a powerful way to support LGBTQ+ individuals and their families. As the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them, PFLAG offers a platform for individuals to contribute to meaningful change. Members receive benefits such as invitations to events, access to educational resources, and the opportunity to participate in advocacy efforts aimed at promoting equality and inclusion. By joining PFLAG, you become part of a community committed to creating a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ individuals 

Membership is renewed yearly in the fall of the calendar year.

Why join PFLAG?

Our mission is Support, Education, and Advocacy.

Support: If you need support we are here for you. We have monthly meetings and support groups. If there is not a current support group we will work on constructing one for your purpose, because you are not the only one who needs it. Others need the group too, but just don’t know it yet or are too shy to ask. One of our many jobs is to let you know you are not alone out there, and someone is there who cares. If you no longer need support, your dues help support others through the website, printed materials, and programs. Join and be a part of supporting others.

Education: If you need information we will help you find it. We educate our members by offering pamphlets, a website, educational meetings, or any other form of education we can find. We want to help you. Your educational needs are important to us and we are willing to help in any way we can. If you already know our history and understand sexuality, your dues help to educate others through the production of materials, the purchase of materials, and the continuing education of the leaders. Your dues help add to our scholarship fund that gives scholarships to young GLBT. Join and be a part of educating others.

Advocacy: If you want to march, petition, and speak out we are the vehicle for you to do those things. If you like to stay on the sideline, your dues help others to do the marching, petitioning, and speaking out. Your dues help officers go to conventions. Join and be a part of advocacy for equal rights.
